FIDLAR RECORD RELEASE PARTY @ THE WELL

FIDLAR held a sweet record release party for Too as the LA quartet teamed up with Tumblr IRL to put on an epic night of art, music, and fun at The Well. The line wrapped around the block long before the doors opened at 7pm and many kids rushed to be at the front of the stage, skipping all the entertainment around the venue. The people content with being at the back of the crowd got to explore the other options, including free screen printing, a photo booth, and design your own LP stations. In addition to the activities, fans could also enjoy the FIDLAR inspired artwork from Ryan Baxley, Alice Baxley, and Zoe Zag.
The set had all the hallmarks of an off-the-wall FIDLAR show with tons of crowdsurfing, stage diving, and dancing. Before even starting the first notes of “Stoked & Broke” from the 2013 self-titled release, fans were going nuts, pushing people onto the stage and jockeying for position. FIDLAR played a lot of songs from their new record, including the singles “40oz. on Repeat” and “West Coast,” as well as old favorites “Cheap Beer,” and “Wait for the Man.” They even threw in a cover of Weezer’s “Undone – The Sweater Song” to great delight. Zac, Brandon, Elvis, and Max hit the road for a long U.S./Canada tour before coming back to Southern California to play Beach Goth 4 and two nights at The Regent Theatre at the end of October, including Halloween!
