From a private little show at 98.7 Penthouse to the major party at the Hollywood Palladium and then finally a DJ after party gig at The Echo, the Irish indie/electropop/dance-punk band Two Door Cinema Club (“TDCC”) definitely worked the LA scene on Thursday. The giddy fans at The Palladium were smashed against the rail, screaming silly and had to have made lead singer Alex Trimble blush. As guitarist Sam Halliday glanced up at the balcony, a group of girls looked like they were about to pass out or fall over the rail. New tunes from their new baby Beacon made several appearances on the stellar setlist. I didn’t hesitate to get on the floor with a fellow photographer and dive into some dance moves.
