As trendy as vomiting on stage seems to be these days, Jack Steadman was not about to jump that train. The lead singer of Bombay Bicycle Club had to leave the stage after 3 songs with a high fever, but returned after about 10 minutes, apologizing for his future lack of jumping around. So as Jamie MacColl (guitar) and Ed Nash (bass) picked up tempo and said they would be back at the merch table after the show, BBC rose above it all and dove into “How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep” from 2011′s A Different Kind of Fix. A tall trashcan was placed in front of Suren de Saram’s drums just in case. Steadman did promise to do a free show upon return to LA, but after the performance at The Fonda, I would be glad to buy a ticket.
