Foxes @ Bootleg Bar #3
A small, shadowy figure could be seen pacing behind the Bootleg Bar’s “Evidence Room” door behind the stage, opening slightly to peek out at the crowd. A few moments later, the figure fully emerged, ready to join the rest of the band on stage.

Much like her namesake, Foxes (aka UK’s Louisa Rose Allen) seemed apprehensive to attention at first, but as soon as the music swelled, it acted like a support system. No longer skittish and meek, the singer thrust herself fully into her songs with energy and passion with arms outstretched.

Foxes played through most selections of her latest, Warrior EP, before thanking the audience and disappearing into the night, almost as quickly as she had arrived.

Los Angeles locals Touché opened the evening.
