The night was instantly energized when Tenlons Fort took the stage. The tight group came on strong with slow, yet immediately connecting songs. Jack Gibson’s melancholy but uplifting voice is reminiscent of Rufus Wainwright and cuts right to the heart of each song. It was a tough act to follow, but Judson succeeded in stepping it up a notch. After debuting a new music video “Meet Me In The Morning,” Judson and his Americana crew rocked The Troubadour and got everybody’s hips shaking and faces smiling. Judson performed each song as if it were already a folk classic and gave all that he had on that tiny stage. And he did this all while in a Cosby sweater. Way to bring it back Judson!
