The last time The Cribs rolled into town, legendary guitarist Johnny Marr was part of the group. How would the crowd react without Johnny? Well, with the sweet buzz around their latest In the Belly of the Brazen Bull, fans at the El Rey Theatre were already pumped up to see brothers Gary, Ryan and Ross Jarman do their thing. In fact, Ryan had much more room to move around. Electric and dynamic – - the energy was there and the brothers are just fine on their own.
