Wrapping up its US tour, Active Child brought its angelic sound to the sold out Troubadour. Full of energy, Lord Huron’s set got fans moving their feet and bobbing their heads to songs from its debut and previews of its forthcoming album. As Active Child’s Pat Grossi set up his harp, the crowd’s excitement grew. The house lights down, the fog machine up, and Grossi’s falsetto echoed in every corner of the venue contrasting the deep bass reverberating through fans’ bodies. Finishing up the last song, Grossi tipped the crowd off to an impending encore where Active Child played crowd favorite “I’m In Your Church At Night” and concluded the evening off with “Ivy.” Photos by Andrew Hanson.
