One thing you know you will experience at The Rapture show is that you will have a damn good sweaty time. Can I get some more cow bell please? The band was back in L.A. promoting their latest album In The Grace Of Your Love and played a perfect blend of that with others. One of the endearing qualities of these dance-punkers is that they aren’t demanding on stage. Frontman Luke Jenner and his boyish grin have sort of a shy presence, yet the music itself holds nothing back. The rail was lined with fans singing every word loud and proud. Everyone lost their shit as “House of Jealous Lovers” and “Olio” pounded throughout the room. Jenner’s distinct howling vocals along with multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Andruzzi had everyone in a frenzy. Pounding the skins was Vito Roccoforte and Harris Klahr on bass. The band’s relationship with the crowd is a strong one as the band is accessible and invites everyone to the party.
