After a night on Conan, Deerhunter’s frontman Bradford Cox gave a sold-out show at the Echo with his own project, Atlas Sound (which is just him, a Gibson, pedals, a stool and a harmonica).  Recorded mostly at his Atlanta home, the songs make you feel like you are just chilling with Bradford. Where’s the couch? Although his music is hypnotic and sometimes dark, when Cox starts chatting with the crowd, his sense of humor and willingness to talk about just anything had everyone wanting to be his friend. Stories of Sony, his mom in L.A., Neil Young, and a skater/computer boy (you had to be there) brought everyone together for one special intimate evening. Download some of his music FOR FREE.
