Last Monday (May 3rd) Broken Social Scene stopped by the Music Box to play for a very sold out crowd that consisted of both younger and older fans. Half way through their very energetic set it was disclosed that they almost had to cancel the show due to Brendan Canning having the flu, however, Brendan then claimed that playing for the crowd in LA had “cured him”. It was later announced that Broken Social Scene will be returning to Los Angeles on October 19th to play at the Wiltern.
