As always, Stab City rocked my freakin socks off, and left me with hematoma bruises on both my hips. With songs like, “Los Barboudos” and “The Psychic,” the L’Keg crowd was thrasing, falling, laughing, and possibly crying.
Aftergloam is a great band that is beginning to make some big noises in the L.A. racket. This 3 piece compliments each other and leaves no dead air between songs. I urge everyone to check them out.
Manhattan Murder Mystery closed out the night, and close it out they did! I found myself on the microphone somehow with Matthew Teardrop singing the chorus to “Mother’s Neck.” The percussion was on Point and everything else follows.

Stab City & MMM are amazing. But LA has become sissified, everybody sucks each others dicks and take any criticism like a bitch. Most of these bands suck hard, its why all these bands that were big 20+ yrs ago are releasing new albums cause ain’t nobody new that is pushing the envelop; Give these “newer” bands some criticism and they become as insecure as a fat kid in his middle school gym class.
