Manhattan Murder Mystery kicked off the evening in their true legit style, with their blow your brains out anthems. The helmet hit the ground with a bang and as the last song came to an end, Matthew Teardrop’s guitar hit the ground and he was out the door. Good set.
The Cigarette Bums sounded jubilant and full of life with their complete lineup. The sax, bass, and guitar seemed to mesh extremely well on this particular night. Many of their songs have grown on me and I find myself anticipating “Jailbird”.
