L.A.’s Eddington Again just finished his Lazy Gays in Black Turtlenecks co-residency with Tolliver (including sets from FUPU’s the Uhuruverse, Thed Jewel, Bapari, Harriet Brown, Abdu Ali, Callie Ryan, Mimi Tempest, Asphodele and more) at the Bootleg: “A celebration of L.A.’s exploding underground queer art n’ b scenes,” says Eddington. “Every night was amazing in its own way and left me flooded with emotions and breathless.”

Now here’s two new works to prepare you for his next moves. The chrome-and-neon sci-fi R&B track “Who Knows” was the closer for the residency sets, says Eddington—”The kids love it,” he adds—and is a teaser for his upcoming 9 album, produced by an as-yet-unnamed duo who are keeping their identities camouflaged until their debut projects officially come out. (“Very forward avant pop vibes,” says Eddington. “The rest of the album will be a mixture of that and experimental soul feels with hip hop/rap as well as punk influence.’)

And the hazy/dreamy “Sweet” is the title track from Eddington Again’s recent EP on NEWBODY—available here—produced by Friendzone’s Chlorine Mist with a video that’s just as atmospheric that naturally co-stars Tolliver. Keep an eye on Eddington here and watch for 9‘s release coming soon.
