Zefrey Throwell, the man behind the Ocularpation: Wall Street performance in which 50 performers costumed as Wall Street workers stripped on the street in a call for transparency, is now in LA for his new piece Entropy Symphony Movement III in which “1,000 car horns sing the song of Los Angeles” this evening at 6 pm sharp!

If you’d like to participate in the world’s largest symphony, composed by Throwell for car horns of all makes/models/years/pitches and lasting five minutes, simply email the Los Angeles Nomadic Division (info@nomadicdivision.org).

details from the artist:

Time:
Start at 6pm (sharp!)
End at 6:05pm

Location:
Wherever you already are!
No need to change your daily routine,
you can perform from right where you are.
Be it on the street, in an alley, on the freeway,
in your driveway or even in your garage,
all locations are equally fantastic.

How’s it work?

Before:
I am attaching a mp3 music file with this email.
On Wednesday, a little before 6pm, cue up the
song and get comfortable in your  car.
Also, if you want to document the performance
with a video or audio recording, please do!
If you email the footage to me I will make it part
of how it is documented and remembered for posterity.

During:
At 6pm sharp start the mp3 and play along with the beeps.
Easy and fun!
If you can, document your performance.

What if someone asks you to stop?
Then stop! Or don’t!
This really depends on how much rebel you’ve got in your blood.
I have faith in you that you will make the right decision.
Just remember, you are doing something incredible,
something groundbreaking and something that is making
world history, you might have to ruffle a few feathers
in order to be part of the purple mountain majesty!

Afterwards:
At 6:05pm the symphony will wrap up and you can
go have fun on a Wednesday night.
Email me your documentary footage and any stories
that you had, I’d love to see and hear them!
