The New L.A. Folk Fest is planning quite the event for August 6. L.A. Record’s Daiana Feuer says she will start selling her body parts in order to make it happen. We need her to keep her fingers so she can keep writing for us so give a $1 or give $3500 please.

The 2nd New Los Angeles Folk Festival is a fun filled day of music and entertainment taking place at Zorthian Ranch, a surreal hideaway at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains, just 15 miles from downtown Los Angeles. Attendees will be guided by map across the 45 acre property to experience live music and performance art on organic stages provided by a wonderland of junkyard treasures.

Over the last year, The New LA Folk Fest has been recognized for its unique contribution to the local music scene by putting on events that go beyond the usual concert experience. Bringing together bands that inspire a new definition of folk music in this unique environment, we hope to create a new appreciation for the festival experience, while also celebrating the unique history of Zorthian Ranch itself.

Your support and donation will allow us to make this special event possible. We must cover costs associated with venue fees, event production, insurance, permits, artists, documentation, crew, commodes and services. After covering these costs, proceeds will be donated to, an organization dedicated to halting mountaintop removal.

Help us to preserve the unique art forms that bring people together!
