Can you feel it ,see it, hear it today?
If you can’t, then it doesn’t matter anyway
You will never understand it ’cause it happens too fast
And it feels so good, it’s like walking on glass
It’s so cool, it’s so hip, it’s alright
It’s so groovy, it’s outta sight
You can touch it, smell it, taste it so sweet
But it makes no difference ’cause it knocks you off your feet
You want it all but you can’t have it
It’s cryin’, bleedin’, lying on the floor
So you lay down on it and you do it some more
You’ve got to share it, so you dare it
Then you bare it and you tear it
You want it all but you can’t have it
It’s in your face but you can’t grab it
It’s alive, afraid, a lie, a sin
It’s magit, it’s tragic, it’s a loss, it’s a win
It’s dark, it’s moist, it’s a bitter pain
It’s sad it happened and it’s a shame
You want it all but you can’t have it
It’s in your face but you can’t grab it
What is it?
It’s it
What is it?…

Don’t like the look of this old town
What goes up must come down
Character is lost and found
On unfamiliar playing ground
Get out of my world
What in the world
Shoeboxed around the rifle range
Have all your functions rearranged
Your mind and body gagged and bound
On a new familiar playing ground
The ordinary will ignore
Whatever they cannot explain
As if-nothing ever happened
And everything remained the same again
What in the world
What in the world
What in the world
Get out of my world
Get out of my world
Get out of my world
Get up, get out, get out of my world
Open your mouth now
Secret signs and knowing looks
These sunny days will cook the books
Happy to take the misery
This mortal life can bring to me
Don’t like the looks of this ole town
What goes up must come down
Character is lost and found
On unfamiliar playing ground
What in the world
What in the world
What in the world
What in, get out, get out, get out of my world
What in the world
Palaces, barricades, threats meet promises

It sucks that they couldn’t get more representation from the LA indie rock scene. Great oldies acts this year though.

FAITH NO MORE ! How we missed you 1989 ! We are sad to report that Big Drill Car and Chemical People will not be performing due to Greg Ginn blowing the Cruz records fortune on his cat farm…oops, CAT SHACK THAT IS ! Did we mention he lived in said shack ? DEATH TO ALL OF YOU BAGS !
