Latest rumor is that Technics is not just stopping production of the 1200 series but actually going out of business early next year. Supposedly sales of analog DJ equipment have sunk too low for the company to continue? We are actually going to try to get something solid on it but the idea of a world without Technics is somewhere between Planet Of The Apes and Man In The High Castle in terms of chilling futures no human wants to live in.

After I bought my first ABIT motherboard, they went out of business. They made some of the best hardware. Many fans were sad to see them go. Now you’re telling me Technics is going out of business? What the hell… I sure hope they don’t also ruin the Metroid franchise by giving it to Team Ninja, as was done with Metroid Other M.
