    This list needs major updating – Territory and Fat Beats are long, long gone.

    Tim closed up Scooter’s about seven years ago and I haven’t heard of him since. While we’re at it, speaking of South Bay record stores, RIP Peanuts, Go Boy, Alternative Groove, Rocketship Records and the two or three others that briefly inhabited that part of the world in the ’90s.

    Someone should read a list of dead record stores off at a show like Patti Smith did a few years ago with her list of musicians passed…
