L.A.-born extremely-post-punk band Savage Republic—interviewed here about destroying the universe—will make a special appearance tonight at Cinefamily to soundtrack the high-intensity experimental film Ere Erera Baleibu Icik Subua Aruaren by Basque artist José Antonio Sistiaga, who spent 17 months hand-painting every single one of the 108,000 frames. Those who enjoy the ultra-saturated visual work of Ira Cohen or Harry Smith will not want to miss this! Tickets available today here! (And special DJ set by Part Time Punks’ Michael Stock, too.)
