Silverlake’s formidable Territory Records and BBQ will be hosting a backyard record swap and sale this Saturday and among the other rare-to-legendary must-have vinyl rippers, they’ll be releasing a selection of records purchased from the estate of Bomp!’s legendary Greg Shaw! Shaw’s Bomp! magazine is a huge inspiration to L.A. RECORD, and if it was good, he probably had the first pressing. Old issues of Bomp! are full of valuable secret info and the Bomp! label’s place in American music history is not only established but still growing.
