Nah Right and others are reporting that NYC graffiti original Iz “The Wiz” passed yesterday from kidney failure. Iz was one of the principals in the landmark Style Wars—the gruff handlebar-mustached twenty-something kid who took us down into the rail yards. His iconic two-color bomb IZ and train and canvas pieces are known and loved in both the music and art communities. Although we are waiting for official confirmation, we still send our best wishes to his friends and family.
