We are sad to report that Japanese ultraman Cornelius (who we have just interviewed!) has canceled his 2009 U.S. and Mexico tour dates due to “Swine Flu concerns and increased governmental travel restrictions.” Message from the Cornelius Group below:

Due to the Swine Flu concerns and increased governmental travel restrictions, Cornelius’ tour in Mexico and the United States has been cancelled.

Our deepest sympathies to all of those affected directly or indirectly by this virus.

Cancelled are the following dates.

May 8 – Mexico City
May 9 – Guadalajara
May 12 – San Francisco
May 13 – Santa Cruz
May 14 – Los Angeles
May 16 – Pomona

To all of our fans, we hope to return in 2010 upon the release of Cornelius’ forthcoming album, and will have more information for you in the coming months.
