We are longtime fans of both Daddy Kev’s Alpha Pup label (home of Kail, Subtitle, Busdriver, AWOL ONE, the Grouch and tons more) and of Santa Ana’s Free The Robots, who have been delivering cheerfully breakneck sets for Low End Theory, dublab and the Crosby with folks like Flying Lotus, Samiyam, Thavius Beck, Gaslamp Killer and more. They are hoping for a mid-2009 release date. A bit more info here.
