Magic Lantern is and has been one of our favorite bands ever since Mae Moreno found them at the first Manifest Destiny festival—you can read their interview here! We are very excited that their very first release—which was a CD-R limited to 30 copies!—is finally out on vinyl! If you are an L.A. RECORD reader, you probably know and love “At The Mountains Of Madness,” but until now, you have been unable to listen to it on the format nature intended. Well, now all things are set right. Thanks to WOODSIST RECORDS, our Self-Titled CD-R is now available once more on black vinyl from numerous distros around the cyberwebs, and hopefully also in your local record store.These are classic LANTERN jams that have been very nicely mastered by James Plotkin, and they sound better than ever.
