Subject: Too much stuff… Shows with Denali, No Age & the Locust + more

Sorry for the mass message. I have no idea how to work this site so I hope if you are getting this you live in LA.

Tomorrow Denali will be playing for the first time in LA in five years at the EchoPlex. The Holloys & the Valley Arena will be opening. The show is $15. This will be their last reunion show (they played two other shows since reuniting- in Richmond & NYC last month). If you have never heard Denali take a minute to check them out- www.myspace.com/denaliband. We promise this will be a great show.

Sunday afternoon a benefit will be taking place at the EchoPlex for Michelle Bigler. The show starts at 4:00pm and No Age, David Scott Stone, the Movies, Dub Lab Soundsystem & the Tyde will all be performing. $12 donation to get in. www.myspace.com/biglerbenefit Please spread the word about this show… It would be great to see it packed to the walls :) (we aren’t puttin on this show… just telling ya’ll bout it)

And last…On Wednesday we will be doing a show with the Locust at the Smell. Chinese Stars & Awesome Brothers will open. $8. 9:00pm. Come out.

And Anthony from the Mean Reds has a new band and they are playing for the first time tonight. They are called Mikki and the Mause and they are playing at the Unknown Theatre in Hollywood with Slang Chickens and Crystal Antlers. They go on first. God only knows what is going to be happen but we know it will be entertaining.

After these shows we will be taking a much needed break until the spring of 09′. From now until then we will be listening to new bands and coming up with ideas for next years fest. So… who would you like to see at next years Fuck Yeah Fest? We are always interested in hearing who you would like to see play. Also, if there was anything you didn’t like about the fest this past year let us know. I’m sure there were a few things.
That’s it for now.
thanks for reading this far.
Sean
