Litronix mastermind Kevin Litrow spent months living above a frenetic gas station in Venice, the kind of place where the best and worst of people—the insanity, the mundanity and sometimes the raw humanity—is always on display. And when he moved away, he’d put everything he’d seen into an album with its feet on the pavement and its head (and heart) in the stars. Pump The Gas—produced with Avi Buffalo and available today from Long Beach’s Porch Party Records label!—is like if Suicide kept the synthesizers and drum machines but added their own self-help philosophy, and then used the streets of the city—and the gas station on the corner—to tell a story about how the pressure of the present and the wreckage of the past (all those dead dinosaurs!) could still lead to a beautiful cosmic future. (That’s where Litrow’s white light comes in: it helps show the way.) Like other beneficial pharmaceuticals, Litronix must be taken in proper dosages, so please consume the entire album for best results, and see the single with the Sensations Fix remix if you need some extra strength! Some coming shows below:

July 3rd
Long Beach, CA // 4th Street Vine
