L.A. RECORD‘s Valentine’s mixtape is so bursting with love we had to make it a box set. Each volume is like another relationship, and each new love comes in different parts as R&B, pop, folk, rock, and experimental. Some of it’s funny and cheesy, but it’s all an emotional rollercoaster—a celebration of heartbreak, sex, and the love of your dreams.

Not sure how crass it’d be, but it might be nice to have links to the bands’ websites, should any of the songs on the mixtape impel one to find out more about them.

It’s cool John. It’s more our fault for not getting the track through post and sent out to LA fast enough. Besides, our submission was more about a failed relationship than a loving one. I’m not sure Taylor can write lyrics like that at the moment and I know he won’t sing what he doesn’t write.

We need more holiday mixtapes like this. Slasher movies once cornered the market – and we should, too!

Oh yes, don’t you worry! St. Patty’s Day is next! Drinking songs!

Another great L.A. Record compilation – between this, the Xmas and the St. Patty’s ones, you’re becoming a tradition!

4/20 is the next holiday – well, not according to the three running for Governor, I mean.
What’s after 4/20? Labor Day? Simchas Torah?
