"historically hysterical" HA HA HA hilarious. I also agree that Harry's a twerp, BUT Lux did put on an amazing show at the junction. Remember the red wine!?

I don't think he's saying the Boss Martians were better than the Cramps. But for those around in the nineties, all the bands that played at Hollywood Moguls and stuff were like full-on historically accurate surf or rockabilly or Back From the Grave-style garage bands. The Cramps were never just imitating Charlie Feathers or whatever, so they were kind of not the dominant style.

The Boss Martians ?

You can't possibly be serious.

Also, Sunset Junction was nothing compared to the previous five shows (all of which included the TV Guide into TV SET schtick) with Bill Bateman playing drums. ROCK ON THE MOON was back in the set !

Harry on drums ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Why couldn't Slim Chance have died instead ?

The Cramps were my first punk show, in Houston in the '80s. There will NEVER be another frontman like Lux Interior. I'm just wondering who we have to embrace these days as musical icons now that the great ones are all shuffling off their mortal coils.

"You gotta live until you're dead, You gotta rock 'til you see red- now do you understand?"
