Moon kids 7″

Brash but not bloody punk inspired by the Stitches and Starvations, yet with a Masque-inspired enthusiasm reminiscent of the Eyes and the Dickies. Singer Austin Transy brings great “fuck you dad” whine-snarl to the project, but it’s keyboardist 2 Buck Chuck’s luddite futurist block chords that really make this band stand out–something like San Diego’s Atoms once were, but less dickish. The awesome art, too, is handmade and faux-violent and silk-screened and DIY in all the ways a damned good punk single should be.
